Once it comes to town, it's like a circus. It goes up, people come, it's a fantastic thing for one night or two nights and then it's gon. And it's like eating ice cream. You know: it's not there anymore and there's noting left. There's just your memory of the experience. Like a circus tent. And you know it's somewhere else, but it's no longer there.

I think Mick is the best entertainer in the world; live, onstage. And the band's fun to play with. But other than that, I don't know. I don't know what the attraction is. I mean, I never knew what the attraction was when we played in clubs. You know? So I don't know now - even less so. I'm just very grateful for it.

For the younger generations, born after nineteen sixty-three or -four… you know, you have the sun, you have the moon, you have the air you breathe and you've got the Rolling Stones. They've just been there all the time...  And I intend to stay!
